In 2011, the Puerto Princesa Underground River (PPUR), an 8.2-kilometer navigable river, was officially declared by the New7Wonders organization as part of the New 7 Wonders of Nature. Aside from the astonishing PPUR, there are indeed innumerable tourist attractions in the country that are great places for summer outing or vacation.
Speaking of summer, March, April, and May are the summer months in the Philippines. During this time, most of the students are in the bliss of their vacation - away from the demands of the school. Together with their family and friends, they would usually go to the beaches or resorts to cool the extreme heat they are experiencing. And I think this resort that I visited in 2011 is a great option for them and for all the people who have great interests in cartoons, anime, and movies.
This water park is known for having plenty of amazing cartoon, anime, and movie characters life size statues, which are enjoyed primarily by the kids and those young at heart. This is the Amana Waterpark in Pandi, Bulacan, Philippines.

The group statue of the famous Justice League is one of the biggest in Amana; it is presented as one of their main attractions, too.

Looks scary! This is the gigantic 25 foot statue of King Kong in Amana, which is said to be the largest in the country. The statue stands big and tall above the refreshing pools. Have a picture with him! King Kong really growls the heat!
Madagascar Escaped Africa!
The Madagascar characters have finally escaped Africa, and are now in the Philippines!
Other movie statues present in the water park include the cast of Shrek, Avatar, Indiana Jones, and Pirates of the Caribbean. All statues are scattered in the premises of the water park.
